When you are near,
My heart speeds up.
When you are far,
I die inside.
My world crumbles,
Without you in it.
When you came,
The darkness was lifted.
My life was incomplete before,
But now I am whole.
Two halves that fit together
So perfectly.
When I cried,
You were there to kiss the tears away.
When I was angry at the world,
You were there to hold me.
If only these words were enough,
To express what I feel inside,
But they don’t, the way you know
is through my kiss.
The softness, the passion,
the love, the tenderness.
